Darkness Into Light at Westport House 2023

Join us at Westport House on Saturday 6th May at 4.15am for the annual Darkness into Light walk in aid of Pieta House. 

The annual 5km walk/run supporting suicide and self-harm charity, Pieta House, returns this year. This special event will take place at Westport House Estate on Saturday morning, May 6th.

Starting at 4.15am at Gracy’s Pizzeria and Bistro, and crossing the line just as dawn is breaking, this moving event takes place simultaneously in over 200 official walks across 15 countries spanning 5 continents.

Each year the walk provides an opportunity for people to connect with their local community and to bring hope to people who have been impacted by suicide. Thirteen years after the first walk in Phoenix Park, this annual fundraising event in aid of Pieta House has raised almost €29 million for suicide prevention, both at home and abroad. 

We encourage you to support this incredibly touching and beautiful experience.Please Note, there is NO onsite registration at Westport House on the morning of the event itself.
