These are a real treat for the whole family. Simple and great fun to make. Create these as a part of your perfect Afternoon Tea, or why not with some ice-cream for a yummy dessert. This recipe makes about two trays and anything up to 30-35 pieces.
Ingredients:
- 567g butter
- 567g chocolate 70%
- 567g brown sugar
- 270g plain flour
- 10 eggs
Serves 30-35 pieces (so if you prefer a smaller batch, be sure to half the quantities – or you could give the gift of deliciousness squidgy chocolate to your friends & family)
Method:
- Melt butter and chocolate in a bowl
- Cream sugar and eggs until light and pale
- Add butter and chocolate mix to the egg & sugar
- Fold in sieved flour
- Place the mix in a tray lined with parchment paper or buttered and floured
- Bake in preheated oven 170c for 30 mins
- Remove and allow to cool
